Bird Watching Vacation on Cayman Brac
There are 200 species of birds recorded on the island. Almost
80% of the birds are migratory, but early mornings and sunsets reveal
hundreds of land and water birds, flocking to the inland ponds.
Your bird watching vacation couldn't be better - The Brac even boats
its own rare Brac Parrot. The West Indian Whistling Duck breeds
in the wetlands, along with seven species of herons and egrets.
The fishing prowess of the Booby bird is renouned while the lazy
Man O’ War is known for pestering the Booby in an attempt
to steal its meal.
Occasionally, roseate spoonbills, pelicans, and flamingos also
find their way to the Brac.
