Cayman Brac is a British Crown Colony Located 480 miles south
of Miami in the Western Caribbean, 89 miles from Grand Cayman and
5 miles from Little Cayman.

Island Entry Requirements
Beginning December 31, 2005, the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative
implemented changes for travel to and from the Caribbean. A
passport is now required to travel to the Cayman Islands,
effective 12/31/2005.
Travel to Grand Cayman
Grand Cayman is served by American Airlines, which provides
3 arrivals each day, each flight connecting in Miami. American Airlines
provides the most service to Grand Cayman.
Northwest Airlines provides seasonal (winter)
service connecting in Miami, as well as non-stop service from Detroit
and Memphis. Northwest provides excellent service from Richmond,
Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Denver, SEA-TAC,
Phoenix, and the California cities.
USAirways has non-stop service from Charlotte and direct
service from Philadelphia. USAir offers convenient service from
most cities in the northeast as well as many cities in the mid-west.

Continental Airlines offers non-stop service from
Newark (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) and daily service
from Houston Intercontinental.
United Airlines has a relationship with Cayman Airways and
provides 3 arrivals each into Grand Cayman, all 3 flights connecting
in Miami with the segment to Grand Cayman provided by Cayman Airways.
Delta Airlines offers non-stop service from Atlanta. Delta
with their hub in Atlanta provides very convenient service from
many cities including Houston, LAX, Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix,
Salt Lake City, and others.
Cayman Airways has several flights each day from Miami and
serves Tampa & Ft. Lauderdale 3-4 times each week, Houston International
with a non-stop early evening flight 3-4 times each week, Boston
with an afternoon flight on Fridays, and Chicago with an afternoon
flight on Saturdays.
British Airways provides service from London (3 flights
each week).
Air Jamaica also offers air service to Grand Cayman.
There are also several charters that run on a periodic basis from
Dallas, Chicago, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Toronto, and the UK.
Getting
to Cayman Brac
Inter-island service between Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac is provided
by Cayman Airways and Island Air.
Cayman
Airways has several flights each day from Miami, from the
Tampa & Ft. Lauderdale area 3–4 times each week, and from
Houston International with a non-stop early evening flight 3–4
times each week. Recently, CAL also announced direct service from
Chicago on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Cayman
Express has also added flights to the Brac aboard their
new turbo prop Twin Otters (De Havilland DHC-6-300) aircraft. Seven
days a week flights depart Grand Cayman at 7:40am, arriving into
Cayman Brac at 8:20am, depart Grand Cayman at 9:45am, with a stopover
in Little Cayman, arriving Cayman Brac at 10:40am, departing Grand
Cayman at 2:40pm, arriving Cayman Brac 3:20pm, and departing Grand
Cayman 4:45pm, with a stop in Little Cayman, arriving Cayman Brac

Cayman Brac can also be accessed by private plane or boat.
Specific entry information can be obtained through the Cayman Islands
Civil Aviation Authority.
Cayman Airways Luggage Restrictions
For international flights and jet service to Cayman Brac, weight limit is 55lbs per bag (maximum 2 bags) and paying for overweight baggage is not permitted. Please check the airline you are flying with for their international weight restrictions. When traveling to Cayman Brac or Little Cayman via the Twin Otter Service; Baggage allowance is 55 lbs per person (combined weight) and only one 15 lb carry-on, any excess will be charged $.50 US per pound.
When You Arrive on Cayman Brac
Soon we will be greeting you at the Resort. Before you land on
our island, you will clear customs in either Grand Cayman or Cayman
Brac, depending on your air itinerary. Upon arrival in Cayman Brac,
claim your luggage and exit the airport. Immediately outside the
door, vans will be waiting to take you to our Resort. The transfer
service is licensed via government contract and only they are able
to transfer guests.
