The Brac on the Blogosphere!
According to Traveling Bags, Cayman Brac is Second in Line
(but only in terms of size…)

Cayman Brac is great for a destination vacation, especially for the family. If you enjoy nature and looking for pure, relaxation…take in the beauty in Cayman Brac. Cayman Brac is the second biggest island in the Cayman Islands. Cayman Brac is 14 square miles and the population is just under 1,300. The majority of residents are from Cayman Brac and unemployment is virtually non-existent. Cayman Brac is one of the safest, if not the most care-free island in the Caribbean.
Driving around Cayman Brac is easy especially if you are familiar with driving on the left side (same as Grand Cayman). There’s a road on the North side that runs the length of the island (east to west) and a road that runs the length of the South side (running east to west). You’ll also find bikes available to rent to get around the island.
The main attractions are nature and historical attractions: Climbing, Fishing, Cave explorations, 38 nature tourism, Heritage House, and more. Cayman Brac, like Little Cayman, is home to many diving sites. Most of the resort offer dive packages that include: accommodations, meals, and 2-3 dives a day (Resort Certification is also available). Some popular dives sites are: The Lost City of Atlantis (large, underwater, multi-piece sculpture garden). M.V. Capt. Keith Tibbetts (intentionally prepared and sunk in 1996).

BRAC REEF RESORT IS BACK! Sea Dog Divers had a great time as one of the first groups to fully enjoy the newly reconstructed resort. If you are looking for a dive resort that offers great diving, pure relaxation and incredible food! Brac Reef ranks at the top!
Brac Reef is uniquely positioned on the island where guests have the privilege to see the sunrise and the sunset all from the same beach! All the rooms have an equal view of the ocean and have a patio or deck (for the 2nd level rooms). The leather recliners in each room are incredible—they are so nice you almost don’t want to leave your room.
The attentive staff are an incredible asset to the resort. The quality and selection of the food was great! Considering there really is no other place to go eat…the assortment and quality of the food is very important especially if you are at the resort for a week. No need to worry—each meal, each day, is uniquely different and the desserts…let’s just say you shouldn’t plan on loosing any weight during your stay.
Cayman Brac is a destination for those looking for absolute relaxation! But if you want the type of vacation where you don’t feel pressured to have to go “somewhere” and if reading or napping in a hammock for the afternoon along the shore is ideal…you’ve found the right place.
